funny typo or typographical error in erotica romance novelAuthor Susan Andersen was shocked to find an unfortunate typographical error in her newly published romance novel, Baby, I’m Yours.

The typo made her mild “erotica” a little more kinky than she intended. On page 293, it reads “He stiffened for a moment but then she felt his muscles loosen as he shitted on the ground.”

The word was supposed to be “shifted.”

According to The Guardian, Andersen is horrified, “I just cringe when I think of the readers who have read this.”

One Response to “unfortunate typo in romance novel”

  1. I feel for her, I really do.
My sub and I were writing back and forth a naughty story/role-play though email a few months back while he was away visiting family.
One night I was dog tired and practically falling asleep on my feet, but I wanted to respond to him before bed because I felt guilty for having neglected to do so earlier in the day. While describing a scene I meant to type ‘while she was comforted by the familiar sound of soft, rhythmic ticking coming from her grandfather clock’.

It came out ‘she was confronted by the familliar sound of soft, rhythmic ticking coming from her grandfathers cock’………… I was so humiliated when I re-read what I had sent him the next morning. Still haven’t lived it down…
I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to have a typo printed in a sold book.
